I moved to Orwell in October 1984 and have felt a deep connection to this community ever since. I graduated from Fair Haven Union High School in 1989 and briefly attended Castleton State College. However, balancing full-time work with my studies was difficult, so I made the tough decision to leave after a year. Years later, I returned to my education and earned a degree in Accounting, demonstrating to my daughters that it’s never too late to pursue your dreams, no matter the obstacles.
On June 22, 2022, I married Jeff Treadway, gaining two amazing bonus daughters along the way. Together, Jeff and I live on the beautiful shores of Lake Champlain in Orwell. I run AGR Business Services LLC, a payroll and bookkeeping firm dedicated to serving small and medium-sized businesses in Vermont, New York, and California. Meanwhile, Jeff operates a small business that focuses on agricultural customers in Addison and Rutland Counties.
Our children, now in their 20s, live in Vermont and New York, and we are proud grandparents to twin grandchildren residing in New York.
I am passionate about being both fiscally and socially responsible. I believe we can work together to make Vermont affordable for everyone. My mission is to foster bipartisan collaboration in crafting meaningful legislation that truly reflects the needs of our citizens. By actively listening to constituents and partnering with stakeholders—including the Agency of Education, the Vermont Principals’ Association, teachers, parents, and students—we can create sustainable change.
To achieve an affordable Vermont, I will focus on key areas such as healthcare, education, tax reform (especially regarding property taxes), housing, and agriculture. Each of these sectors presents unique challenges that require cooperative solutions to ensure our communities thrive for generations to come. Together, we can build a brighter, more affordable future for all Vermonters.
